Mom with a dino kid
My five year old will sit with this book for an hour at a time to trace and color and is still coming back to it day after day - it's been two weeks and still going strong. Pretty good for a coloring book!

A World of Dinosaurs
This book is an excellent learning tool for all ages aboutdinosaurs. Within this book you learn about roughly twelve differentdinosuars. You learn what they eat, how big they are, interesting facts about each one. They even break-down how to say each ones name. The part that I liked was how they try to bring to scale how big things were on a dinosaur compared to a human. For example, did you know that "the plates on a Stegosaurus's back were so huge that you could have used one as a comfortable backrest?".

At the end of this book, they list "fast facts" about some of the dinosaurs. Within that information they list the height, weight, speed, special body parts, and other things. At the very end of the book they have a "puzzle" section, which tests what you have learned.

I bought this book for my young daughter, for when she gets older to learn from. However, I must admit I learned a few things from reading it first. I would also recommend the following books in the series: Sharks, Insects, and Snakes.

I hope that this review was helpful to you. Again this is a wonderful learning tool for a person of any age.

The Original 10 Book Set
The main purpose in me writing this review is so that anyone looking at this can know which titles are in the set. It comes in a nice cardboard slip cover with pictures of characters from 8 of the books on it. It was released in 1991. I would recommend this book set for any parents. They make great starter books for new readers.

Golden Books and Disney have another collection out now, and they are basically the same except three newer movie books in the new collection replaced the three starred ones listed below.

Titles in this collection are: 101 Dalmations * - Bambi * - Cinderella - Lady in the Tramp - Peter Pan - Pinocchio - Sleeping Beauty - Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs - The Jungle Book - The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Underwater Adventures *

Disney's Princesses 3-in-1 Book
This has got to be one of the best activity books to come along in a long time, specifically if your child likes to color and paint. As a parent I loved the Paint with water pages - no messy paints to clean up all you need is water and a brush! I myself (38 yr old mom) couldn't stop from wanting to paint a new picture. The mazes and activities are fun and challenging and it also has the traditional coloring pages with large pictures of their favorite Disney Princesses. I would love to see a book or books with ONLY coloring with water - my daughter and myself can't put it down!

Sometimes a book can make me happy or sad!!!!!!!!!!
I like this book called "Disney's Beauty & The Beast" by adaptor Rita Balducci & illustrated by John Kurtz & Jose Cardona.

Gaston the hunter wants to marry Belle but, she doesn't like him.

When Belle & Maurice are happy to be together again, then their joy did no last long, when a crowd of villagers appeared. They were led by the wicked evil hunter, Gaston.
"Your father is crazy," he told Belle. "He said you were the prisoner of a wild beast. Crazy folk should be put away. But I won't have him locked up if you will marry me."
"But there really is a beast!" Belle cried. "Look in this mirror & you'll see!"

After Gaston sees the Beast in his mirror, he & some villagers set off to kill the Beast.
Gaston finds the Beast in his castle & challenged him to a fight.
Then Gaston pulls out a knife & stabbs the Beast in the back, & the Beast roared & as they struggled, Gaston slips & falls from the Castle roof to his death & it makes me sad.

Then later Belle rushes to the Beast. He had been mortally wounded in the fight.
The last rose petal was about to fall. "You can't die!" Belle cries. "I love you!"

Then the Beast turns into a prince & the prince & Belle dance & the spell is broken.

This book reminds me of The Indian in the Cupboard: Omri's Scrapbook.

I loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I enjoyed it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I loved it & it's my favorie!!!!!!!!!!

It sometimes makes me happy or sad.

I loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Disney Favorites
If your children like books and Disney, they will love this collection! We received this as a gift. These are workmanlike adaptations of, or excerpts from the movie of the title: just the right length. My kids enjoyed ( and still enjoy) them, whether or not they actually saw the animated film.

Excellent Presentation
This is a very good book for young children. The sounds go perfectly with the story, which is richly illustrated and true to the movie.

Many times these types of books have effects, which are made from token stock sounds. Not these, they are very faithful to the movie presentation.

My daughter went back to this day after day.
